Founded in 1972, Certified Flyers II gained recognition as one of the most technically advanced educational training facilities in the northeast. We provide advanced training in all Cirrus SR aircraft. A feature article in November, 2005 Flying Magazine explained the features and benefits Tom Benenson (Flying Magazine Writer) experienced during his initial Cirrus training at Certified Flyers II.

In early 2002, Philip Ferrante (a former airline pilot) and John Schingo, C.P.A. started a satellite operation in Marlboro Airport, NJ. Certified Flyers II consolidated the location to Morristown airport.

Certified Flyers II has an exceptional flight training and aircraft sales department. The instructors at Certified are carefully screened to ensure a staff of fully licensed, experienced professionals. They are initially evaluated to assure a high level of teaching ability, with the focus on the individual student's needs and learning aptitude. The majority of the instructors hold Bachelors Degrees in Education and Aeronautical Studies. All our instructors are qualified to give both flight and ground instruction. We follow a structured academic syllabus provided by Jeppesen. Graduating students and instructors of Certified Flyers II have one of the highest employment rates in the industry. Certified Flyers II students/instructors are employed by airlines (Major/Regional) and private corporations throughout the world.

Certified Flyers II is the only training facility that can provide both Avydine (PFD/MFD) and Garmin 1000 glass cockpit training. We pride ourselves in providing the best training in a friendly atmosphere.
