To qualify for block rates, you must place $1,500 or 10 hours (whichever is more) on your account prior to flying.
A fuel surcharge (subject to change) is applied to all retail and block rates.
PILOTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL LANDINGS FEES AND RAMPS FEEs THAT THEY INCUR. IF YOU LAND AT AN AIRPORT AS PIC YOU
MUST FIND OUT IF THE AIRPORT IS GOING TO MAIL A FEE TO THE OWNER OF THE AIRCRAFT. IF THERE IS A FEE YOU MUST TELL THE DISPATCHER TO ADD THE FEE TO YOUR INVOICE FOR THAT FLIGHT.
Pilot Requirements
Hold a valid FAA pilot certificate (Certified will retain a copy).
Hold a current FAA medical certificate (Certified will retain a copy).
Provide proof of citizenship (birth certificate or passport) as per TSA rules.
Logbook showing proof of currency (Certified will retain a copy of the last 2 pages).
Certified Flyers II Rental Agreement (completed and signed).
Complete a Certified Flyers renter checkout questionnaire for the aircraft to be rented.
Complete appropriate checkout flights with an Certified CFI (as described below).
A pilot who has completed a checkout and has been approved to rent a certain make and model of aircraft is automatically approved to rent other models with equivalent or lesser horse power (i.e., A pilot checked out in a C-172SP is considered proficient in a C-172P as long as the pilot has previous experience in the Cessna 172P within 90 days).
Logbook endorsement from a Certified Flight Instructor as per TSA requirement.
Night rentals reqiure an instrument rating and 30-day currency.
Checkout Procedures
One hour ground instruction covering the aircraft and airspace.
A checkout flight lasting approximately 1.0 to 1.5 hrs minimum.
Type-specific quiz, which includes weight and balance calculation.
Note: Certified Flyers does not guarantee proficiency in the previously stated time. Any additional training that is needed for proficiency will be provided at the current rate being charged.
Certified Flyers reserves the right to refuse rental.
Cirrus Timeshare Checkout
CAT Program Required.
Private Pilot Certificate.
Instrument Rating (night operations).
Cirrus Transition Course (ground and flight).
Demonstrate proficiency with the use of Garmin 430 & Stec 55X autopilot.
A minimum 20 hours of flight time in the Cirrus.
Pass the TAA/Cirrus POH written.
There is a one hour minimum on all rentals, instructional, photo and sightseeing flights.
All student bookings have priority over aircraft availability. If an aircraft is needed to accommodate a dual flight lesson, rental customers may be rescheduled (including weekends). Block rental customers have priority over non-block customers.
Block and Gift Certificates are valid for one year from date of purchase and are not refundable. All rates are subject to change at management's sole discretion without written notice. Block money is not valid for the purchase of supplies or any other item other than aircraft rental. Please be advised that increasing fuel prices may create an increase in rental rates or add fuel surcharges. Fuel reimbursement will be credited to clients account up to Certified FLyer's cost of fuel. Certified Flyers is not responsible for typographical errors. There are no refunds.
